How to Find Your Cheekbones for Perfect Makeup Application

Head, shoulders, knees, and toes are all easy to find. But the location of your cheekbones can be a bit more difficult to find, "Sweep the product along the general cheek region" is something no makeup artist says ever. Knowing exactly how to highlight your cheekbones is essential to any beauty regimen — a little contour underneath can streamline a face, a little too much allover and you'll look overdone.
Below are 3 steps for you to identify your cheekbones so you know exactly where to apply bronzer, blush, contour, and highlighter.

Step 1: Take a brush and draw it from the outside corner of your mouth to your earlobe. This is where your cheekbone begins.

Step 2: Now take the same principle from the first step and draw the brush to the fleshy part right above the earlobe. This is where your cheekbone ends.

Step 3: Now, a map on where to apply bronzer, blusher, contour, and luminizer (not necessarily all at once): Contour goes slightly underneath your cheekbones. Bronzer goes in the hollow of your cheekbones, slightly above where you would place contour (if you choose to use it). Blush goes in the apples of the cheeks, the sections that goes up when you smile for an instant brightening effect.

How to Use Honey to Get More Gorgeous Skin, Hair, and Nails (Must Read)

This all-natural ingredient is good for so much more than sweetening up your tea or coffee.
Honey's often thought of as a healthier sweetener, but you might be surprised to learn that this ingredient has tons of skin and hair benefits, too.
Next time you’re browsing the grocery store shelves, look for raw honey, which hasn't been heat-treated or pasteurized; it contains more active phytonutrient antioxidants and enzymes for enhanced benefits. Here are a few ways to put the ingredient to use (sometimes with the help of some other natural ingredients).

1. Moisturizing Mask
Honey is a natural humectant, meaning it draws moisture from the air into the skin and ensures it's retained it in the layers where it’s needed most for penetrating, long-lasting hydration.
Try it: Spread one teaspoon raw honey on clean, dry skin, and let sit for 15-20 minutes, then rinse with water.

2. Pore Cleanser
The enzymes in raw honey clarify skin and keep pores clear and clean. Plus, the antibacterial properties of honey and jojoba or coconut oil also prevent bacterial buildup that can lead to skin imbalances and breakouts.
Try it: Stir one tablespoon raw honey with two tablespoons jojoba oil or coconut oil until the mixture is spreadable consistency. Apply to clean, dry skin, and massage gently in a circular motion, avoiding your eye area. Rinse with tepid water.

3. Gentle Exfoliator
Honey is loaded with antioxidants, enzymes, and other nutrients that nourish, cleanse, and hydrate skin. Baking soda, meanwhile, is a gentle natural exfoliator that removes dead skin cells, allowing new cells to emerge for a radiant complexion.
Try it: Mix two tablespoons honey with one tablespoon baking soda. Splash your skin with water, then gently rub the concoction on your face or body in a circular motion. Rinse well.

4. Scar Fader
Honey is said to lighten skin, and its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial compounds help to decrease the appearances of scars and increase healing and tissue regeneration. The hydrating properties of honey and coconut oil or olive oil will also help revive skin cells, while regular, gentle massaging will increase circulation to aid skin recovery and cell turnover.
Try it: Mix one teaspoon raw honey with one teaspoon coconut oil or olive oil. Apply to the affected area, and massage with the tips of your fingers in a circular motion for one to two minutes. Place a hot washcloth over your skin, and let sit until cool. Repeat daily.

5. Acne Treatment
Honey contains antibacterial and antifungal properties that thwart bacteria that can lead to breakouts. Its anti-inflammatory properties will calm redness and irritation.
Try it: Apply a dab of raw honey to affected areas, and sit for 10-15 minutes. Rinse with tepid water.

6. Bath Soak
Honey's not just hydrating; its antioxidants will repair skin and protect it against oxidative and environmental damage.
Try it: Mix two heaping tablespoons raw honey with one cup hot water until dissolved. Add to a tub of warm water, and soak.

7. Cuticle Moisturizer
Raw honey is loaded with nutrients and enzymes to nourish and heal skin, and it's a natural humectant, meaning it draws moisture into the skin. Coconut oil conditions and protects, while the acetic acid in apple cider vinegar softens hard skin and balances pH for healthy growth.
Try it: Mix one teaspoon honey with one teaspoon apple cider vinegar and one teaspoon coconut oil. Rub over each cuticle, and let sit five to 10 minutes, then rinse.

8. Hair Conditioner
The enzymes and nutrients in raw honey give dull hair shine without weighing it down. Coconut oil penetrates the hair shaft to condition and smooth the cuticle and give your strands the luster you crave.
Try it: Mix one tablespoon raw honey with two tablespoons coconut oil. Apply thoroughly to the bottom two-thirds of damp hair, starting at the ends and working up. Let sit for 20 minutes, and rinse well.

9. Shampoo Booster
The humectant properties of honey help regulate and retain moisture in hair, plus honey is said to strengthen hair follicles for healthy growth.
Try it: Mix one teaspoon honey with a dime-sized amount of your favorite shampoo. Wash and lather as normal, and rinse well.

10. Hair Highlighter
The enzyme glucose oxidase in honey slowly releases hydrogen peroxide, an ingredient known to lighten hair color.
Try it: Mix three tablespoons honey with two tablespoon water. Apply to clean, damp hair, and let sit for an hour. Rinse well. Apply weekly for best results.

11. Sunburn Treatment
Honey restores hydration to the deepest layers of sun-exposed skin—and both honey and aloe vera contain powerful anti-inflammatories to calm burned skin and aid recovery.
Try it: Mix one part raw honey with two parts pure aloe vera gel. Apply to sunburned skin.  Click here to enter our store

10 Tips to whiten your teeth naturally – Home remedies

There is nothing worse than the horrifying looks of yellow teeth. While this happens for many reasons ranging from too much caffeine and tea to taking a ton of antibiotics to your diet it can often be treated. However the cost for the treatment can be quiet costly and cost hundreds of dollars. Often times many dental plans won’t even cover this as it’s considered cosmetic and that leaves you with a huge bill. Why pay all that money when you have a host of ingredients that are right in your kitchen or can be purchased at your local grocery store.

1. Baking Soda
Baking soda is one of the best ways to whiten your teeth when used carefully. Please keep in mind these suggestions should be used in moderation. Excessive use of baking soda can erode your teeth’s natural enamel which can leave you prone to other issues. Here are some simple easy ways to use baking soda to whiten your teeth. Try mixing a quarter teaspoon of baking soda with a little bit of toothpaste. Brush your teeth with the gritty mix and do this at least twice a week. Instead of warm water you can make the mixture with hydrogen peroxide, lemon juice, or even white vinegar.

2. Orange Peels
Orange peels are very effective at removing those dreaded yellow colors from your once pearly white teeth. You can instantly restore your teeth’s gorgeous looks by rubbing a fresh orange peel every night before going to sleep. The vitamin C and calcium will go to work right away and fight the chemicals that cause yellow discoloration. Try doing this for a few weeks and notice how much better your teeth look.

3. Strawberries
Another big supplier of vitamin C strawberries also will help your yellow teeth vanish if done properly. Try this concoction to get those pearly whites back. In your blender grind a few strawberries to make into a thick paste. Gently rub the paste onto your teeth. If you do this every day twice a day you will notice in just a few short weeks that your yellow teeth are gone. Just like magic. How is it that for money saving. It is much cheaper to buy a box of strawberries then spend hundreds on expensive whitening treatments.

4. Hydrogen Peroxide
Hydrogen Peroxide contains a mild bleaching ingredient which has the same results as those expensive whitening treatments. However pay extra attention when using Hydrogen Peroxide as overuse can irritate your gums and make your teeth extra sensitive. Try this method to make a hydrogen peroxide paste. Mix a paste of baking soda with some Hydrogen Peroxide. Then gently brush your teeth with it. Later on do a regular brushing of your teeth with your favorite regular toothpaste.

5. Lemons
One of the best ways you can rid your teeth of yellow discoloration is using lemon peels. In fact it is suggested that gargling with lemon juice and scrubbing your teeth with a lemon peel is one of the most efficient ways to remove yellow marks on your teeth.

6. Salt
Salt has been used for hundreds of years and has been proven to be effective with removing yellow plaque marks from teeth. Simply mix regular table salt with some baking soda and very gently rub it on your teeth. Pay extra attention with salt as it can do some damage to your gums and teeth enamel if you brush harshly.

7. Holy Basil
Not only is Holy Basil very good at removing yellow plaque marks from your teeth but it also helps prevent advanced periodontal diseases such as pyorrhea. Leave a few holy basil leaves in the sun for several hours. Go out and check them periodically when they are dry this is when they are ready to be used. You then want to take the dried Holy Basil leaves and grind them in your blender until they are in powder form. Mix the Holy Basil powder with your regular toothpaste and start brushing away.

8. Apples
Apples are very powerful fruits and benefit our bodies in many ways. But did you know just chewing a crunchy apple once or twice a day is just as potent as brushing your teeth. The acidic juices from apples works diligently to remove yellow stain marks from your teeth. Still brush your teeth but try doing this with eating one or two apples a day and see how gorgeous those teeth will look.

9. Charcoal
Another well-known teeth brightener Charcoal has potent crystal chemicals that does a great job at whitening teeth. Just mix a little bit of charcoal powder with your regular toothpaste and gently brush. Try doing this twice a day. If you don’t have Charcoal you can also use burnt bread and rosemary as substitutes.

10. Margosa
Margosa or neem leaves are both effective against yellow teeth. In addition to these excellent features margosa due to its tough antiseptic properties is very effective in fighting other dental health issues such as bad breath and cavities. You can use margosa twigs instead of your regular tooth brush and start putting those powerful properties to work right away. In addition to this you can also chew margosa branches to help fight yellow discoloration and prevent other dental health issues.

MORE LIPSTICK TRICKS!!!

1. FIND YOUR PERFECT PINK
Unsure of which pink is best for you? Just smile; your perfect shade is about the same color as your gums-no lighter.

2. MAKE LIPSTICK LAST
To keep your color in place, fill the entire lip with neutral pencil before applying lipstick. If necessary, roll the tip in the palm of your hand to warm it up and prevent hard lines.

3.CREATE A CUSTOM SHADE
Turn any lip color into a shimmery new shade: Swipe sheer golden gloss over lipstick-it instantly warms up every color.

4.SHAPE LIPS SANS LINER
Give the illusion of two perfect peaks without lining lips: Just dab concealer in the groove at the center of your upper lip and blend well.

5.USE POWDER FOR THE PERFECT NUDE LIP
Start with a pale pink shade, then dust translucent powder on top for a matte effect.

6.PRIME LIPS FOR SPOT-ON COLOR
If you really like the way a lipstick color looks in the tube, prime lips with a touch of foundation before applying; that way, you start with a blank canvas. The result will be similar to what you see in the package.

7.MAKE YOUR OWN STAIN
Turn any lipstick into a durable stain by blotting, reapplying, then blotting again to remove excess oils. Blot with lint-free blotting paper rather than tissue for a more natural, long-lasting look.

CHAII Lipstick will be the perfect Long Lasting Look you really want.

ONE MAKEUP MISTAKE THAT IS MAKING YOU LOOK OLDER!!! 45 AND ABOVE

As you age, you lose definition in your lips, so to appear more youthful, you'll want to wear a lipstick that adds fullness. A dark color does just the opposite, making your lips look smaller, less plump, and less highlighted. Instead, choose something in a mauve or pink tone. Adding a layer of gloss is helpful as well. Many women feel like they are too old to wear lip gloss, but a shiny finish will actually add a youthful plumpness. But if you decide to go dark and are concerned about looking older, stay away from something with a heavier texture or matte finish because it will stay flat on your lips. Opt for a sheer and hydrating formula or a lip stain.  Click here to enter #bmpromakeup

Be Truthful

Breast Cancer is the most common cancer in women. Staging of the condition is a significant factor in the treatment as ‘the earlier the condition is found the more chance of cancer recover and treatment’.

CREATE THE LIPS YOU'VE ALWAYS WANTED!!!

Here are a few simple tricks and handy tips that can help you make the most of your beautiful smile.

1. To Make Lips Look Fuller
Pick a lipstick and lip liner in matching shades — choose lighter colors, since darker tones can make lips appear smaller. Use your lip pencil to define lips. Go to the outermost edge of lips but no further — do not go outside the natural lip line. Then fill in entire area with lip liner. This will "hold" lipstick longer. Apply your lipstick over lipliner.

2. To Make Lips Look Wider
Instead of plumping up thin lips, try accentuating your mouth's wonderful width! Use a liner that perfectly matches your lipstick and line the extreme edges of lips, extending out to corners. Fill in with lipstick color, then top with gloss on middle of lips only.

3. To Make Lips Look Thinner
Trace inside the natural lip line, and fill in with your lipstick. Picking a matte shade will also make lips appear smaller.

4. To Add Natural Definition
Give your lips a strong line using a neutral colored pencil, then fill in with a sheer gloss blended gently to the edges by a few strokes of the lip brush. The result is naturally shimmery and moist-looking lips.

THE 10 DON'T YOU NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO

Don't:

1. 'Have your make-up test done anywhere with overhead fluorescent lighting. If you have a professional make-up artist coming to your home, arrange a time when it’s still daylight outside.

2. 'Let a make-up artist hijack your look. For a lot of people, their wedding is a time when they can really take pleasure in having someone else do their make-up, but I think there can be a temptation to just indulge in the experience and take on all sorts of suggestions from the make-up artist - someone who may not know you or how you like to look particularly well. I'd advise real caution here; you don't want to surprise your intended at the altar by turning up looking like someone else. Whether you're hiring a make-up artist or doing your own, I generally think that the best bridal make-up is simply the most exquisitely polished version of how the bride usually looks - after all, you want to look beautiful rather than your make-up.

3. 'Trowel it on. It’s a total myth that your make-up has to be plastered on for the photographs. Lots of wedding photography is done in natural light, and if you choose a heavy base the make-up will look obvious. In terms of flash, you just need to ensure that your T Zone is matte and that can be achieved with fine translucent powders and blotting powders, not layers of make-up.

4. 'Go for anything too trend-led. It's worth bearing in mind that you'll have to live with photos from your wedding for the rest of your life, so it's best to avoid statement looks and opt for something more classic; that glittery eyeliner you saw on a Parisian catwalk might look super pretty and modern now, but chances are it'll look tired and dated in twenty years' time.

5. 'Be scared of going a bit brighter. Neutral, brown, and pale lip colours can look washed out in photographs, so choose a lipstick that’s one or two shades brighter than what you would normally wear. If you usually wear a neutral hue, it should be worn as a base, with a pink or rose colour on top. If you typically wear dark lipstick, use that as the base, and apply a brighter pink on top to give the colour a lift. Pinks, roses and plums are all great, classic choices for brides.

6. 'Just apply make-up to your face. Instead, extend down your neck and over your shoulders if necessary, this will ensure you face is not a different colour or even texture to your body. Everything should look uniform to create the most natural look possible. An easy way to blend uneven skin tones together is to use a light fake tan. Do this the day before your wedding not the night and beware of darkening your skin tone too much as the effect it actually the deaden the look of your complexion.

7. 'Forget to decide what kind of maintenance you’d prefer for the day. For example, are you happy to check you're looking okay throughout the day, or do you want to just forget about your make-up once it's on? Waterproof mascara is an obvious requisite, but it's also worth considering cream eyeshadows that really set - you can be sure they'll stay where you put them.

8. 'Go too dark on the eyes. Define your eyes by applying colour in the crease, but avoid using a shade that’s too dense, as it can detract from the eyes themselves.

9. 'Go too glossy or too matte. It's best to avoid lipsticks at either end of the texture scale; too glossy and they'll only last five minutes whilst too matte and they may leave your lips dry and cakey by the time it's the moment to kiss your groom. A moisturising, satin-y finish lipstick is best for a wedding - this kind of formula will keep your lips looking their best and will wear off the most evenly and naturally; several thin layers, blotted between applications will give the most long-lasting finish.

10. 'Rush. Allow at least 45 minutes to an hour for make-up application on the wedding day.

Bridal Make-Up Tips: The 10 Dos You NEED To Pay Attention To

Do:

1. 'Make sure you have your trial at least three weeks, but no more than 5 weeks, before your wedding. If you plan on using tan for the big day, have a test run before your make-up trial so that your artist can see what colour your skin becomes with the tan.

2. 'Wear a white t-shirt if you’re having your make-up test in a store so that you can see how the make-up looks against a pale colour and take a picture of yourself in day light (with no flash) .

3. 'Emphasize your eyes by brightening any darkness under them with corrector and concealer' .

4.' Bring references to your make-up trial. Start looking for images of make-up that you really like and bring them with you on the day. Try to identify what it is you like about the make-up in the image and try not to over do things.

5. 'Remember that bridal make-up needs to have enough colour to compensate for the whiteness of the dress. There’s a big difference between everyday clothes and a wedding dress, so there should be difference in your make-up, too. Start by making sure your skin looks even and smooth, and then add colour to your cheeks and lips to give them a glow' .

6. 'Use individual eyelashes – they’re a brilliant way to make your eyes stand out and look far more subtle than a full strip. Go for differing lengths to create a really natural look.

7. 'Focus on the most important elements of your look, such as beautifully natural-looking skin, softly groomed brows and feathery lashes. If you get these basic factors right the rest of your make-up will fall into place.

8. 'Research application methods as they might differ slightly from your everyday make-up routine. For example, if you prefer to line with a shadow, make it last longer by applying it with a slightly damp eyeliner brush.

9.' Go pro. The best wedding make-up should last as long as you do so, We Prolong wear range which includes foundations, concealers, lip and eye products that provide superior wear that will see you through your wedding day and night.

10. 'Finish your make-up off with a highlighter shade on the brow-bone to make the eyes really pop. Go for a light matte shade, and pat onto the outer corner of the brow bone so subtly draw attention to this area of your face.

WEDDING GUEST MAKEUP TIPS!!!!

Creating a picture-perfect look and making sure you stand out from the rest of the guest at a wedding should not be that stressful. Your dress and makeup should be simple, at the same time emphasizes your natural beauty. So follow these simple tips, on how to do your makeup for a wedding guest and look fabulous.

INTRUCTIONS

1. On the wedding day, we tend to be hot and sweaty, our faces showing an unwanted glare that spoils our look. That is why the skin must be perfectly clean, moisturized and made up with the right cosmetics for the occasion. If you notice your skin is dull and loose, before you start doing your makeup, do a flash bulb lifting effect to combat signs of fatigue. Use an illuminating concealer that corrects imperfections, reduces redness, blemishes or pimple and hides dark circles.

2. Then, apply a strong foundation, with good coverage and a matte finish to avoid having to tweak your makeup every two minutes. The foundations that last up to 24 hours are ideal for such events, so you only have to worry about enjoying yourself and having fun on this very special and emotional day.

3.  Finish touching up your makeup with compact powder on the T-zone of your face, and if your skin is very white, you can also use bronzing powders, but carefully to avoid creating unsightly differences between the neck and chest color.

4. Time to make up the eyes. Our advice is to use light shades in a range of colors like beige, brown, pink or light blue depending on the color of your dress. Choose a lighter shade to bring light to your eyes, apply directly under the brow and in the corner of your eye.

5.  If you wish, line your eyes on top by drawing a fine line to frame the eyes naturally. A very simple way to have lively eyes is to make up the inner part of the lower eyelid with an eyeliner pencil the colour of the eyeshadow or blue-green if you have light eyes. For the final touch, apply a coat of mascara to the top lashes. Choose a mascara that adds volume and is waterproof in case you spill some tears of excitement.

6. Colour your lips in nude tones, or a little darker and more intense depending on the colour you used for your eyes. Apply a transparent lip-gloss to make your lips look full and fleshy. The key is to have a natural and elegant look.

7.  Finally, do not forget to add a touch of colour to the cheeks with a light blush. Apply from the centre of the cheekbone to the temple. It's best to choose a blush that matches the natural color of your skin and especially accentuates and highlights your cheekbones.

8.  With these simple tips, you'll be wearing very flattering makeup and you will be one of the most beautiful and elegant guests at the ceremony, Good luck.

HOW TO GET THE NATURAL BEAUTY LOOK ANY MAN WILL LIKE!!!!

I WON'T CRY FOR YOU, MY MASCARA'S TOO EXPENSIVE.
WOW Ladies, makeup will always be our best friend, but for our men, well we all know the answer. Ask any man what makeup looks he likes on women, the average dude will tell you he likes a natural beauty.  But us natural beauties also know that the natural look your boyfriend says he digs takes a little time...and a little makeup. Here, how to get the natural beauty look men love:

1. Prep your skin.
A great natural look starts with great skin. Make sure you're washing your face every night and using makeup remover to scrub off your war paint. Once you've got a clean face, moisturize. Make sure you're choosing a moisturizer made for your skin, especially if it's sensitive, dry, or oily. Next, give your foundation or concealer a base to hold on to with a makeup primer.

 2. Even out your skin tone.
Your weapon will depend on how much coverage you need. If you've got great skin, go for a tinted moisturizer, or just cover up red spots and slight discoloration by lightly patting concealer on the spots where you need it. Need a little more coverage? Apply a light, pea-sized layer of foundation all over your face.

3. You glow, girl.
The key to taking your natural makeup to the next level is a gorgeous glow. Light up your face with a few light dabs: on your brow bone and in the corners of your eyes to open up your peepers, and along your cheekbones to give your skin a sexy sheen

4. Add a touch of color.
There's a fine line between bedroom eyes and I-just-got-out-of-bed eyes, and that line is an eyelash curler and a coat—just one!—of mascara (we love the VA VA VOOM BADDEST BLACK)Step away from the eyeliner and shadow for this understated look. Want a pinch of color on your cheeks? Choose a cream or liquid blush for a more natural, blended look.
5. Set it and forget it.
If your skin is oily or your makeup is prone to sliding off by the middle of the day, set it with a light dusting of powder. Skip this step if your skin is already dry and lastly.....

LIPSTICK TIPS!!!

Here are a few quick tips to help you

Best Bet: Two Shades Darker
The most flattering lip tones will be one or two shades darker than your natural lip color.
Figure Out Your Skin’s Undertone
Look at the veins in your inner wrists in the natural light. If they appear bluish, you have a cool undertone. If they look more greenish, then your undertone is warm. Rosy pink, pomegranate, and cranberry tones look best on cool skin tones; while bronze, copper, and cinnamon work better on warm skin tones.
It’s Also About Your Lip Shape
Darker colors make lips look smaller, while brighter colors make lips appear bigger. Stay away from dark shades and stick to light-to-medium shades if you have thin lips. Darker shades also tend to draw more attention to your lips, a tip you should keep in mind if you want to accentuate or minimize your puckers.
Don’t Be Afraid to Go Nude
Pick a nude lip color that is slightly brighter or deeper than your skin tone. If you’re pale, look for something with a hint of pink.
Actually, Anyone Can Wear Red
The secret to choosing the right red lip color is in the undertones. Try on cherry red if you’re pink skinned, fire-engine red if you’re olive skinned, and deep red if
you’re dark skinned.
